PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Do you love coffee?

Well, you're not alone. In Maine, young adults are stopping into local coffee shops, now more than ever.

A financial service company "Level Money" conducted a nationwide study on how millenials spent their money, and it found that Maine is the nation's most caffeinated state.

A millenial from Maine spends six times as much at cafes as those who live in states on the bottom of the list.

Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut were also in the top five.

Washington State, the home of Starbucks and often considered a coffee shop mecca, came in fifth in the survey.

And the state with the lowest coffee shop spending was Mississippi.
